SUMMER PROGRAMS
Summer is a wonderful time for growth, and at Simply Spoken Therapy, we’re here to help your child keep building confidence and communication skills—without the stress of “extra school.” Our summer programs are thoughtfully designed for kids of different ages and needs, whether they’re continuing progress from an IEP, strengthening social communication with peers, or getting ready for the big milestone of kindergarten. Each experience blends play-based learning with expert guidance from licensed pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists in a fun, supportive environment that feels anything but typical summer work.
OUR SUMMER OPTIONS:
IEP-BASED SUMMER SPEECH SUPPORT
Summer break doesn’t have to mean lost progress
Our IEP-Based Summer Speech Support program is designed for school-aged kids who receive speech services through an IEP and would benefit from a little extra support while school is out.
Led by licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, sessions are individualized and guided by your child’s current IEP goals—but delivered in a way that feels engaging, motivating, and very much not like extra school.
Think play-based, functional activities that keep skills strong and confidence growing all summer long.
Why families love Summer SPEECH Support:
Helps prevent regression during long school breaks
Supports carryover of IEP goals in a relaxed, low-pressure setting
Individualized to your child’s specific needs
Flexible scheduling that works with real-life summer plans

SOCIAL BUTTERFLIES GROUP
Ages 5–7 | Small Group | Led by a Speech-Language Pathologist | drop off
Making friends can be exciting... and also a little confusing. If your child wants to connect with peers but struggles with things like joining play, keeping a conversation going, or handling tricky social moments, Social Butterflies is here to help—without pressure, awkwardness, or “say this exact thing” vibes.
This small-group program is led by a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist and focuses on building real-life social communication skills in a fun, supportive, low-stress environment. Each session targets a new skill—like taking turns, staying on topic, reading social cues, problem-solving with friends, managing interruptions, accepting “no,” and being a flexible, thoughtful friend. Kids practice through games, role-play, stories, and guided peer interaction (aka: learning while having a blast).
This group is a great fit for children who use sentences to communicate but need extra support navigating group settings or haven’t had many chances to practice peer interaction. No prior therapy experience needed—just a kiddo ready to grow their confidence.
Play-based, engaging, and never forced
Clear teaching + real-time practice with peers
Builds confidence (not compliance)
Led by a skilled pediatric SLP who gets kids
